We Select the Best Agricultural Land
Our specialists search for lands with suitable characteristics in Italy and Albania to optimize bamboo development. The areas are identified and assessed based on their climatic, hydro-geological and agronomic characteristics. The soil is examined through a granulometric analysis, measuring the PH and the percentages of the organic substances and the presence of carbon and silicon.
We design each Plantation Development by creating a Dedicated Business Plan
Our technical team drafts an "all inclusive" economic evaluation of the project, designs the plantation layout, the water supply and the irrigation system, verifies the availability of mechanical equipment to work the land, and of organic fertilizers. The following steps are all administrative formalities, including the set up of the company and the declaration of the project owner. On behalf of the Entity, we stipulate with "Vivai Only Moso" a supply contract for "Only Moso" certified giant bamboo plants "Only Moso" and a warranty of rooting.
Contract of Sale at the Best Market Price
We sign a contract for the supply of sprouts and stalks that guarantees unlimited withdrawal at the best market price with an estimated threshold price for sprouts and stalks (respectively 2 € per kg and 12 € per stalk).
We Collect Investor Subscriptions
After developing a detailed Business Plan for each selected land, we promote cultivation by presenting the economic benefits to interested investors. Those who choose to share the project can partially rent the plantation, even an area of only 10 square meters. The investment is one-off, and does not require the payment of any fees.
Distribution of the Harvest Based on the Subscribed Rented Plantation’s Area
From the beginning of the production (4 or 5 years from planting the bamboo) to the end of the harvest, the Entity's Board of Director approves the quantity of bamboo's sprouts, canes and biomass to be assigned to each tenant-investor pro rata. The production share, assigned to each tenant-investor, is communicated annualy to each entitled person, who may choose to receive their return in the form of the harvested product to their address or to sell the product to The Entity, which is committed to purchase it and pay it at its market value.
Collection and Distribution of Quotas
From the moment the plants have reached the ideal height and diameter (starting from the 5th - 6th year), the real production will start, and at the end of each harvest, the ViviBambù Board of Directors will identify the quantity of buds, canes and biomass to be assigned pro-quota to each tenant. The percentage of reaped harvest is communicated annually on the basis of the rented plantation area.
Annual Collection of Profits
Each investor, owner of the rental contract, can choose whether to receive the harvest directly in one of their deposits, or simply sell it to ViviBambù, which undertakes to purchase it with no quantity limits, paying by bank transfer, at market value.
